We are still working - This is how we do it
We are still working -This is how we do it.
As we enter our second month of shelter at home due to the Covid pandemic, I wanted to let you know – we’re still working. We have easily transitioned our custom interior design business to be virtual So if you’re ready to bite the bullet and make a change in your home to make this quarantine more tolerable – here’s the way to do it.
You’re working from home - we’re working from home, but we can still handle an interior project to improve your space both visually and functionally from start to finish. This is what the process looks like:
Step 1 is a “face to face” meeting via the computer. We can hop on a zoom call or facetime and get a good look at your potential project. We’ll brainstorm and define the scope of the project, discuss ballpark budgets and timelines, and give you some direction for how we can get started.
You provide us with dimensions of the room to do our preliminary concepts.
Step 2 is a 1-hour virtual consultation
Zoom again and a more in depth walk through of your project scope, budget, and inspiration photos to get design direction. We’ll share some inspiration photos and sample colors and fabrics that would give you your updated look while still relating to the rest of your house that is staying the same. Knowing where design is headed is always helpful in building a current look – where we can really help is to make that current look timeless
Key point – Working with a designer helps you integrate your new look updates with the existing elements in your home.
Let us show you what is coming!
We will leave our call with a direction for the look, a clearer definition of the scope and timeline and a budget range, we’re off to work!
Step 3 is a second 1-hour virtual consultation to review our plan. We will present a plan drawing and a 3d elevation to give you a real feel of your new layout. We also walk you through a digital presentation showing you the proposed finishes (wall, floor color, etc.), furnishing styles and fabrics, window treatments, even accessories. Your whole room in front of you. You get to keep this digital presentation as part of the process!

From there, we can decide next steps for when and how to get the project going.
We’ve spent 18 years building wonderful client relationships through referrals and partners but in 2019 we decided to develop a new way to connect for our clients – digitally. We worked for most of last year developing products and access for our clients who preferred to meet online. My millennial kids and their vast group of young professional friends are approaching new home purchase phase so I wanted to be able to speak their language, meet online, and adapt to the way this generation wants to furnish their homes. We took this goal and developed affordable design options that can be done from your home – little did we know it would help us to be able to work through the pandemic and keep in contact with all of our clients.
